Trues Pond Dam Repair Project
Trues Pond Dam Repair Project
Camp NEOFA started a Trues Pond Dam Repair Project to fix the leaks in the dam and to stop the uncontrolled release of water from the pond. The ultimate goal is to keep water in the pond every summer as it is an important part of the campers’ experience.
The project took 5+ years and was completed in September 2020.
Thank you all for helping to Successfully Complete our Fund Raising
This project cost $240,000. With existing funds and 2019 & 2020 donations, we raised $225,000. In December 2020 and January & February 2021 we received over $15,000 in Dam Donations. We now have a $16,000 reserve fund to be used for annual inspection and maintenance of the dam.
All donations large and small are appreciated as those contributions helped us reach our goal.
